Meetings The Wider World

The Camphill impulse is based on recognizing the spiritual uniqueness of each individual, regardless of disability or religion and race.

We seek to support and uphold each person with their own personal strengths and needs.

For this a willingness to develop and serve is needed, a willingness to meet each other and keep things alive.

We strive to be a community where people show respect for each other and recognize everyone’s contribution.

We endeavour to pay attention to details in our home life and in our work. Participation in workshops is crucial and work is seen as a gift to others.

The foundation of our work is based on Anthroposophy (which was established by Rudolf Steiner 1861-1925).

Anthroposophy, which means the spirit of wisdom in humanity, is a spiritual philosophy, which endeavours to bring about a deeper understanding of the human being as well as an awareness of the spiritual world. Corbenic is a member of the associations of Camphill Communities, which was founded in 1940.
