The Wild Winter of 2009 - 10
on Corbenic's Therapeutic Farm

Farm Development Winter 2008 /09 Spring 2009 Summer 2009 Autumn 09

Deep snow lay over Corbenic for three months during the exceptionally severe winter of 2009 2010.

From Christmas to Easter more or less

Many farm buildings in Scotland collapsed under the weight of snow. Corbenic Farm was only saved by Archie and his team clearing tons of snow from the byres and out-houses..

The Big Freeze did not really relent until April

It is testimony to the care of the residents, volunteers and staff that Corbenic's livestock survived the winter
