Lindisfarne

Lindisfarne, named after a small island off the coast of Northumberland. The house is steeped in rich history, being the first living space when Corbenic first opened in 1978. It has seen many changes over the years and is now the middle household within the Mainhouse. It is home to six residents, six live-in volunteers, senior support worker and two house co-ordinators.

Lindisfarne's sitting room is the heart of the house and from the windows there is a spectacular view to the river Braan and down the valley.

Many of Corbenic's residents started their community life in Lindisfarne. Many of them have moved on to other houses, however are always happy to share memories of life in the mainhouse.
