Football and Thunderbolts

This afternoon Niamh and Josh from Saints in the Community visited Corbenic, coinciding with a visit from Fairview School. Saints in the Community are a community trust set up by recently promoted St Johnstone Football Club. Niamh and Josh facilitated a friendly game of football, providing red bibs to help know who was kicking towards each goal. The gathering thunderclouds proved no deterrent to the two teams. As the rains came, the final whistle was blown and every headed for shelter.
