Hillwalkers Visit Maspie Den and East Lomond

Today the hillwalking group climbed East Lomond, from the Pillars of Hercules car park, ascending via the picturesque Maspie Den. The walk involved a short dark tunnel and walking behind a waterfall before heading up to the peak of East Lomond for a picnic lunch. In total, everyone walked 11.5km and ascended 461m.
