Today we celebrated Easter with our first community meal in the new Corbenic Community Barn.

Traditionally, community meal events would have been held in the hall in Drumour Lodge. Over time, Drumour Lodge had become too small and community meals were split across multiple rooms. Now, with the Community Barn, everyone can be comfortably and safely accommodated in one space. For the Events Team, the meal “went really well” even with an attendance of 100.This includes daily opportunities to sit together, as a house group, round the table and enjoy homecooked meals made with quality ingredients.

A delicious dairy and gluten-free meal of carrot and sweet potato soup, rolls from the bakery, was enjoyed by all.

Thank-you to the events team for organising, house staff for preparing the soup and for all who donated to make this fabulous new community space possible!
