Today, our first Diary Meeting was held in the new Corbenic Community Barn.

Diary Meeting is the weekly Monday morning get-together where, as a community, the events of the forthcoming calendar for the coming week. Previously, the Hall in Drumour Lodge was used, but it was limited to 50 people. Now everyone in the community can be accommodated and on this first occasion 77 attended!

The role of Diary Meeting “chair” rotates with houses, workshops and the office taking turn about. Kathryn, the Horse Workshop leader chaired this first meeting in our new space and was very positive about the new space. “The acoustics are fantastic”. The acoustics were particularly appreciated as Jon Plunkett recited “Meanwhile” [1] followed by live-in volunteer, Till Schenkenberger, treating everyone to a piano rendition of “La valse d’Amélie” [2].
