Highland Games fun!
We had a beautiful day for our Highland Games and what a good time we had – Highland dancing, Tug of War, Haggis spoon race, Sack race, Folding the Plaid and Wellie boot throwing were all part of the afternoon.
It all started off with a bag pipe tune and then being led in groups by the piper to our first events.
After we had finished our games we had a shortbread competition and prizes were given to the worthy winners. We had refreshments and even a band too, with traditional songs and information on the history of the Highland Games.
