Paddling at West Sands, St Andrews

Our annual beach trip went to West Sands, near St Andrews. The weather was overcast but warm enough to paddle and play some beach games.

The West Sands of St Andrews, stretching over a mile, backing onto the world famous golf course. Beach cricket was the game of choice. Others tried kite flying but the there was very little wind. Our bravest beachgoers went for a paddle in the North Sea, which was bracing. Meanwhile, the beach proved the perfect time for a sing song with a very friendly dog.
