We love trees at Corbenic. Tomorrow we will be planting more for Earth Day. Sadly, today, for safety reasons, we say goodbye to some old tree friends. The trees being removed were very close to power lines and Cottage and Skye residential buildings. Boughs from the trees had come down in a recent storm. Whilst no buildings were damaged, it was a lucky escape.
Some of the wood from the felled trees will be used for woodwork and crafts. The remainder will be stored for firewood.
