Wood from the sitka spruce felled by professional tree surgeons in the Autumn of 2025 have been waiting to be processed. The trees had cracks in and were too close to the new Community Barn for comfort, so safely taking them down was necessary.

The spruces were so large the bar on the existing saws was insufficient. Now with a new chainsaw with a longer bar, work to process the wood can begin.
