Today we woke to our first snowfall of Winter 2025 at Corbenic.

The first snow is always a special time. Our residents know it is a time for warm clothes and good boots. For some of our volunteers, it can be their first experience of snow – a magical time.This includes daily opportunities to sit together, as a house group, round the table and enjoy homecooked meals made with quality ingredients.

Snow brings along some extra tasks. For the Estate Workshop, the team ensure the paths are kept clear. On the Farm, the animals still need to be fed. Meanwhile the other workshops are busy preparing for the Corbenic Advent Market, which this year will be on Saturday 29 November.
