Volunteers Making a New Sunbox Bench

Our Corbenic volunteers bring an energy that keeps our community thriving. Their roles within the houses are only part of their contribution. In their workshops, with guidance from workshop leaders, they take on projects that allow them to develop skills. In return Corbenic benefits from their handiwork.

Managing the Estate involved maintaining areas that, over time become weathered. The bench at Sunbox, in front of Drumour Lodge, was needing some maintenance in time for the summer sunshine. Estate volunteers, Nele and Lotta, were tasked with replacing the bench, with guidance from the workshop leaders.
