Understanding the importance of healthcare

Residents, through the Voices Group, asked for Residents Training. Previous training has included topics such as fire safety. The latest training was looking at healthcare. Medical check-ups may cause anxiety for residents or indeed anyone. Having training to help understand why check-ups are important and how they should be conducted is helpful.

We were delighted to welcome Courtney from enable communities today. Courtney gave our residents a training session on health check-ups. In the interactive session residents were who had seen a doctor or nurse in the last year. For those who had not had an appointment, Courtney explained that, as residents of Corbenic, they are all entitled to an annual medical check-up. She then went on to explain how to request a check-up and what happens during the check-up.
