One of our new Soay lambs

This weekend lambing started as our Soay ewes had their lambs. Our Soay sheep are a heritage breed. It is a busy time for the Farm Workshop checking on the welfare of the new arrivals.

Within hours of being born the lambs are able to walk and follow their mother around the field.
