The smell of freshly baked bread fills the corridors around the bakery each morning and deliveries of bread can be seen in swinging baskets around the community. The aim of the bakery workshop is to make a variety of breads for the community tea-breaks and for use in the houses. The productivity extends to providing bread for sale in the Corbenic shop, local markets and other outlets.
The afternoon workshop shifts to the smell of sweet biscuits wafting down the corridor which are enjoyed by everyone with a cup of tea. We all have our favourites!
