Garden

The aim of the garden workshop is to grow fruit and vegetables both organically and biodynamically to use within the community. The sense of purpose which has many therapeutic qualities comes to the fore during harvesting time when the year’s yield is laid out in preparation for the festival meal.
Set within the old walled garden area, the team are kept busy weeding, planting and preparing beds. They even find time to make jams, preserves and juice from the produce.
