Current Affairs
Current affair discussions take place every Tuesday evening and are an opportunity for people to discuss interesting articles they have seen recently in the newspapers. This allows the residents to be aware of events that are taking place in the world. It is usually followed by a story telling.
Singing
Singing is an activity which alternates with dancing on Thursdays. During these sessions residents can have fun learning new songs. When a festival is coming they also have the chance to practice what is going to played.
Swimming
Every Friday morning a minibus leaves Corbenic to go to Aberfeldy swimming pool. The swimming group has grown considerably over the last few years, and is now split into two groups. This means that the residents go swimming every other week, which greatly improves mobility and flexibility.
Dancing
Dancing takes place in the hall with a local befriender on alternate Thursdays. This is normally a mixture of different dancing styles and everyone has the opportunity to request different songs. It's a great way to practice for the different festivals and disco parties that we have during the year.
